Sate Ambal From Kebumen Central Java, Chicken Sate With Different Sauce

Sate Ambal is usually a specialty Satay from Ambal, Kebumen, Central Java. It is actually exactly like Sate Ayam, though with different sauce. The sauce is manufactured out of crushed tempeh and chilies which it mixed with other spices. Usually this Satay is consumed together with ketupat.

The means of making this ambal satay not take long and too simple. Well, we simply see the making satay ambal below.
Material :

500 g fresh chicken meat
3 tablespoons cooking oil
soy sauce to taste
skewers taste

Softened seasoning :

1 cm ginger
3 grains of roasted hazelnut
3 cloves garlic
5 red onions
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
salt to taste
brown sugar to taste (finely combed)
flavoring to taste

Sauce Ingredients:

250 gr tempe (steamed and mashed)
5 red onions (puree)
3 cloves garlic (crushed)
3 red chilies (puree)
enough water
salt to taste
brown sugar to taste
flavoring to taste

How to Make Sate Ambal:

diced chicken to taste then coat with all the spice paste, stir well and let stand twenty minutes interrupted
skewer of chicken meat that has a skewer and grilled over coals until cooked while inverted reverse
Mix each of the sauce ingredients in the container, stir until well blended
cook sauce over medium heat, adding enough water (less than little and not very much)
let stand until cooked while slightly stirring
serve skewers over a serving plate and allow the sauce beside tempe
